The once mighty UK manufacturing sector has suffered years of closures and job cuts. 2007 has however seen a period of growth, The Office for National Statistics announced the sectors growth amounted to an annual increase of almost 1%.

Iggesund Paperboard: Xicon developed an Oracle-based data warehouse to consolidate and report on two legacy production systems. The solution enabled faster reporting, more comprehensive data collection and made the organisation business intelligence ready.

AMEC: Utilising Oracle Workflow Xicon developed a solution to capture and evaluate employee ideas for new products, services and markets.

Leading FMCG Manufacturer: Provided skills in VMware installation to assist the clients IT function with adoption of virtualisation technologies. Skills transferred included installation, architecture and staff training.
