Leading IT solutions provider Xicon is looking to increase their VMWare capability with the addition of an extra VMware professional. You will have extensive technical knowledge of VMWare and be a VMware Certified Professional - VCP. Xicon provide infrastructure solutions predominantly for SMEs in the North West and will expect you to spend much of your time speaking with clients, providing support, understanding client issues and making recommendations. There is also the requirement to help with sales with input into new bids and writing progress reports for existing clients.

Due to the nature of the business, Microsoft Certification such as MCSE would also be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will also be prepared to take part in a support rota and on occasions travel to customers outside the North West.

In return, Xicon offers a generous salary in the range of £25k-£40k based on experience and complementary skills. On-call bonus and various benefits also apply including private healthcare and complementary gym membership. Holidays start at 24 days per annum and additional days holiday are earned through length of service and performing out-of-hours support duties.
